Culgaith one of the lesser known smaller villages in the magnificent Eden Valley is worthy of a visit. It has a village church, well known garden centre with Mrs Miller's tea room/restaurant, and a 17th century inn. Very conveniently located within easy reach of the stunning and charming countryside in the North West of England. The Lake District, Pennines and Yorkshire Dales all offer excellent opportunities, hiking and mountain biking. For the keen train enthusiast the Settle-Carlisle railway passes through Culgaith, you can board the trains either at the neighbouring village of Langwathby or in the market town of Appleby, the journey is a delight. Recently converted from farm buildings the cottage now offers a compact retreat, whilst retaining some of the character of the original buildings. It is in the courtyard adjacent to the owners B & B.
