Nestling on the eastern side of Crummock Water in an idyllic location, these cottages are well-appointed, set on a traditional working farm with Herdwick and Swaledale Sheep. Buttermere Valley is an excellent base with its numeerous breath taking walks or for those who like a more leisurely stroll, the walks around the lakes are a delight. Keswick and Cockermouth (birthplace of William Wordsworth) are within easy reach, both offering many places of interest, shops, pubs and restaurants. Buttermere Village is one and a half miles awau with two pubs, a church and two tea rooms. This cottage overlooks Crummock Water with its beautiful backcloth of Mellbreak, views to the rear of the historic Blue-Bell Valley of Rannerdale. Connected to the main farmhouse by an archway.
