Small and compact but full of character and charm, beamed ceilings and an open fire - an ideal couples retreat. The west coast/western lake district are well worthy of a visit, walk across the green and you are on the sandy beach. All your needs can be met at the village store, there are also pubs in the village and several eating places. We can recommend the ice cream across the road. Come and explore this part of Cumbria, you will not be disappointed.
